Experience Masterworks Chorus of the Shenandoah Valley

Masterworks Chorus under the direction of Scott Zane Smith welcomes new singers 18 and older who have experience with choral music singing. 

Members must have a personal commitment to attend rehearsals and to work independently on music outside of rehearsals. We are currently auditioning new singers for the Christmas season concerts. 

Rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 13 and will be 90 minutes each week.   All singers will need to show proof of full vaccination for Covid-19.  Sorry, there are no exceptions.

Singer Dues
$60.00 per season (Christmas & Spring)  
 

What do you need to do? 
We ask that potential new singers contact us in advance.  Please email us (using the email address above) or call with the following information:

1. Your voice part (soprano, alto, tenor or bass)

2.  Music background (lessons in voice or other instruments)

3. Choral-singing experience: If so, how many years? What types of music?  where? Are you currently singing with a chorus? 
    

Based on the information, we may schedule you for a pre-rehearsal appointment with the Artistic Director, where you will complete a one-on-one voice placement exercise with the director.
